Marriott Hotel Lisbon A nice and lovely hotel with spacious rooms. The hotel seems a bit old but has been renovated inside. Excellent service. Prices are reasonable to slightly high. Valet parking service is available. It’s about 20–24 minutes away from the city center. 🥲

Even though this Marriott isn’t located right in the heart of downtown, I absolutely love it. The lounge staff are especially wonderful—their warm and attentive service truly makes guests feel welcome. My room is cozy, comfortable, and has everything I need. There’s also a nearby metro station, and right in front of it, a bus conveniently takes you directly to the hotel.

I am very disappointed with my stay at the Lisbon Marriott Hotel, which fell far below the standards I usually expect from Marriott. Internet: The Wi-Fi is not free, and even after paying, the connection was extremely flaky and painfully slow — totally impossible to work with. This is unacceptable for a business traveler. Only managed to update my bonvoy elite status on next day to get the free internet access. Parking: Parking is very limited. Most of the time, I couldn’t even get into the underground car park. Very frustrating for guests who drive. Gym: The gym is under renovation, and the temporary setup is honestly terrible. Equipment is poor and does not match Marriott standards at all. Breakfast: While the breakfast itself was very good, the restaurant opens quite late on weekends, which is inconvenient for guests who start their day early. Payment experience: The worst shock came when I received a letter slipped under my door claiming there was a payment issue — despite having already given a deposit and card details at check-in. When I approached reception, I was told it was a "system error that always happens" where payment details get deleted. This explanation does not inspire trust, and it left me questioning the hotel’s reliability. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. For a Marriott property, the lack of reliable internet, poor facilities, and questionable payment handling are simply unacceptable. I’ve always trusted the Marriott brand, but this experience makes me reconsider staying at this hotel again.

The hotel was a big disappointment. The rooms are old and look like they haven’t been updated since the early 2000s. At reception, it was a real struggle to merge two bookings into one (we had 4 nights + 2 nights separately), and it took the receptionist almost 40 minutes to sort it out. The “executive” rooms are absolutely not worth the extra money – they are identical to the standard ones. The lounge is also a letdown: you’ll only find cheap and not always tasty Portuguese products. Definitely not worth the upgrade. Another unpleasant surprise: the hotel takes a deposit, but if you order room service or buy drinks at the bar and don’t pay immediately, they send you a message asking you to go down to reception and settle the bill. Very unprofessional. Breakfast is chaotic. There’s always a line, and when you finally get in, they insist on seating you at some awful table in a busy passageway. On top of that, you’re given a card just so you can access the buffet and leave a tip. Completely ridiculous. This was our last time at this hotel. I would never recommend it to anyone. Instead of handing out free chocolates, they should really learn what proper service is.

We’ve enjoyed our visits to this hotel. I think what’s really made the Lisbon Marriott special is the outstanding service. They retrieved a medical device that I left in a cab and managed to get it back to me in the US. One of the front desk clerks, Magdalena, has been especially helpful to us during our stay. The executive lounge, the small side, has very good food and drinks and a nice little terrace overlooking the pool. You’re right near the highway so there’s a little traffic if you keep the windows open, but we enjoy the sunsets and breeze. It’s closer to the airport that it is to downtown, but we would go back here in a heartbeat because of the special people who work there. Oh, and let’s not forget the spectacular breakfast buffet!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! I was very impressed with the quality of the services – the staff was extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I also appreciated the variety at breakfast – plenty of delicious options to choose from. The location is also a big plus – very close to the main tourist attractions, which made exploring the city easy and convenient. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely come back!

Spent amazing 4 nights here :) Close to the airport, and convenient transportation stops all around. Although there are lots of sketchy people in the square/park in front of the hotel, especially at night. Loved the hospitality and helpfulness of the staffs. Look at the view from my room! It was great to open the curtains every morning. I just wish there were slippers in the room. Breakfast buffet was pretty nice with good coffee and view from the second floor. Bakery was different every day, which was a plus!

Big busy hotel in a great location. The rooms are spacious but the one we were in had only one power point and no USB. The shower was over a steep sided and deep bath. The hotel was very clean and tidy but a bit of a maze, long corridors and lots of corners. Breakfast was good with a wide range of foods. The bar area didn't open until 16:30 but the bar staff were friendly and helpful, as were the rest of the staff we had contact with. We enjoyed our 3 night stay and would be happy to stay there again.

Hotel Mundail is located in a very central and popular part of Lisbon. It appears the lobby has undergone some recent renovations… unfortunately the rest of the hotel has not received the same treatment. The hallways have old and tired carpet that is stretched out, and stained. The beds are just awful. They are as firm as a wooden box and creak like they are made out of plastic. I’m not even sure I slept. The rooms themselves have old furniture, which is showing wear, along with old appliances and a tiny TV placed on the weathered desk. The bathroom appears to have some mold issues as the water tends to spray everywhere from the shower and sink. There are no outlets to spare in the rooms as every plug is occupied by the lights, fridge, tv, or another appliance. So you’ll have to crawl under the desk or nightstand to strategically remove something to charge your devices. The switches are not very intuitive either, so you’ll have a fun time guessing which switch turns each item on and off. Apart from the bellman, Pedro, the staff has been mostly pushy and rude. The front desk agent seemed annoyed with my party’s presence and was dismissive. After arriving at 2:00 We were told to return later when our room would be ready between 3-4 PM. Completely fine, it would have been nice to receive some level of kindness or hospitality. The rooftop bar was not really intuitive to find, and seemed too busy and crowded to serve the guests efficiently. You had to pay per transaction rather than running a tab like you would at a normal restaurant. The walls are thin and you’ll hear most of the noise from your neighbors and the neighboring community. We also got a room by the elevators with hardly any isolation from the sound of other folks talking loudly and laughing at all hours as they returned to their rooms. If you have another option in mind, I’d recommend it. Hopefully the owner can give the same attention they did with the lobby to the aging rooms. They certainly need a refresh.

30 minutes to serve 3 simple cocktails, no smile no excuses from the server, not a lot of tables to serve. And the server put a tip in the note without asking. Too bad, the place is nice but the service doesn’t follow. Service was the 03 October 25 at 03:15 pm

Awesome stay. In the nicest part of the hotel we found our rooms filled with very handy items like a kitchen and a washing machine with dryer. The gym was top notch. I weighed myself daily and the cable machine was smooth. After a few days I found out I could even pair my Spotify with the sound system. There are fresh towels galore and cool water to sip while working out. The machines are heavy and not wobbly. The weights are very large in diameter but start at a mere 5 kg. This gym was perfect to refresh my mind and body almost daily. Room was cleaned twice in a week’s time. And I could even arrange for a well needed massage at the room by a professional named Wesley. (Don’t let his smile fool you, he won’t spare your sour muscles!) Thanks team for the wonderful stay, abundant breakfast and nice coffee.

This was definitely a cool vibed hotel. Some would say ‘instagram worthy’. The rooms were nice and clean. We had just a one bed room and it was tight. Not a lot of wiggle room but we didn’t spend a lot of time there anyways. I loved that it got really dark at night and it was quiet. The hotel was massive itself and it was kind of confusing to get to our building but after a couple of runs we got the hang of it. Overall, it was a good stay and I would stay again.

On arrival, we were optimistic — the photos suggested a tasteful, modern escape with a touch of charm. Sadly, that illusion dissolved within minutes. The first room we were shown was wholly unacceptable, prompting an immediate visit to reception. The staff there were genuinely pleasant and did their best, showing us four alternative rooms. Regrettably, “different” did not mean “better.” We eventually settled on the largest one — a room designed for guests with disabilities — simply because it offered more space than the others. Seeing the different rooms we could smell mold in 2 of the 4 rooms in the bathroom. Management assures guests that “improvements are underway,” though this phrase has clearly become part of the décor. The so-called swimming pool is only Isabel by one person at the time I remain genuinely baffled by the glowing reviews this property receives and can’t help but question how such praise is earned. For the price charged, this establishment offers little more than disappointment wrapped in good photography. I have two stars because some of the staff were really friendly.

This is our third stay at a Locke property and it was great! The location is fantastic- close to everything but not surrounded by tourists. We had a small issue with our room and Rodrigo promptly solved it! He was very professional and helpful. The hotel itself is quite large and sometimes hard to navigate, but the bonus is that it has a very unique vibe. We are aware that housekeeping only comes once during a week-long stay; however, when they did come it was clear that there wasn’t much cleaning done. This is one point that can be improved. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much in Lisbon!

Fabulous hotel. Pool area was lovely. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was nice while traveling. Comfortable and clean units. Everyone was incredibly friendly from the check in/out to the pool bar. The cafe was great and quality coffee (again great service). Thank you so much!! Can’t wait to come back

This hotel is by far the best! Extremely clean, amazing service, great food and lovely rooms. Breakfast 630-10 saved us when we needed to be up early and perfect when we wanted to sleep in. The lobby bar had drinks that were 10/10 along with great food! We ate dinner there two nights in a row. Every employee was so nice and helpful. I will be returning.

Very nice atmosphere with great art pieces! All in all the environment is just very peaceful. Love it here! Update: I returned tonight to take some photos of the lobby to add them to my review and was offered a beverage with some snacks. I would like to especially mention bar tender Tiago for preparing the perfect lemonade ensuring that I feel welcome and comfortable. Together with his colleagues Flávio, Beatriz and Rodrigo, I could not have asked for a more soothing time in the lobby in the evening of a regular, but very busy Monday. Thanks a lot, guys / muito obrigado! 🙏

This hotel was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. The staff is wonderful, the location is wonderful and the grounds are beautiful and well kept. I had a minor room issue that I addressed to Pedro and immediately Lorenzo called me back and remedied the issue. The concierge was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable and immediate with bookings and reservations. Catarina at the concierge went above and beyond for me. I was traveling alongside my small son and I could not have asked for a better experience. It has now become part of my most cherished holidays. So glad to have booked Tivoli Liberdade.

We had a truly beautiful stay with my partner – the perfect way to begin our time in Portugal. The hotel itself is stylish and comfortable. Our room was spotless, well-appointed, and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. For those with lounge access, it’s an even more fantastic experience: the space is calm and elegant, the drinks and snacks are generous, and it’s a lovely spot to unwind in the evening. Overall, the combination of excellent service, thoughtful amenities, and warm hospitality made our stay unforgettable. We’d love to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Portugal.

This is a top notch hotel with amazing amenities. The rooms are very clean with extra comfortable beds. Our room had robes, slippers, safe and a refrigerator. The service was very friendly and for breakfast there was a wide variety of foods including gluten free items. The large lounge downstairs was very inviting and there was a piano that was shaped like something in the future. Flavored water and popcorn were available in the lounge. The rooftop has a beautiful panoramic view of Lisbon. You can even see the Sanctuary of Christ the King in the distance. Definitely a wonderful stay while visiting Lisbon.

The best part of this hotel - by far - is the staff and service. Every single person was thrilled to be helping you - and left you with a smile on your face. That included the front desk, housekeeping staff, wait staff, everyone. That doesn't discount that the hotel itself is lovely. With a large ground floor bar area the featured live music. A delicious breakfast buffet. An relaxing pool area. Everything you need. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Lisbon.

I arrived day 1 and was instantly greeted by the kind staff, who from that point on went above and beyond to make my time in Portugal a wonderful experience. Jessica, Julio, and every other employee I met were kind, professional, helpful, and very knowledgeable about their jobs and how to best enjoy Lisbon. Some of the best and friendliest customer service I've ever seen. The rooms were great and beds were comfy. I didn't hear the rooms next door at all. The breakfast was fantastic as well. You're an easy walk away from the Saldanha metro stop, but we walked downtown most days on a very easy tree covered main road. There are also tons of restaurants and coffee shops right outside of the hotel if you don't want to go far. Easy 5 stars all around and we'll definitely be coming back.

My wife and I stayed here recently and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It all started with us arriving a tad bit early to check in. We all know how this typically goes. Cue looooooooong wait time here. But much to our surprise we were greeted with this magical sentence: “We’re delighted to welcome you. We have your room ready and you’ve been upgraded.” Cue cartwheels here. The best word to use to describe our entire experience is SERVICE. Every component of our stay - from check in to the lounge area to the incredible spa area - was met with impeccable service. We really felt taken care of. My wife and both agree that this was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at for the price we paid. Amazing value.

We had the pleasure of staying at the hotel while in Lisbon with my family. Beautiful hotel with great amenities. Rooms were spacious and attended regularly. Pool was neat and warm. Check in process was efficient and professional. Service was outstanding throughout our stay. The free shuttle was added bonus. I would definitely stay again if back in Lisbon.

I visited this hotel over my birthday with my daughter. The hotel was great and the staff polite, friendly and attentive. We came back to find complimentary sparkling wine in our room, for my birthday which was a nice touch. (They must have noted this when they took our passports since we didn't tell them). The smart TV was great giving guests access to YouTube, Netflix and other streaming platforms. We ate at the restaurant on the first night and the food was delicious. My only gripe is the spa. Firstly, why do we have to pay €40 pp for only 1 hour's use? I've NEVER had to pay just to access a spa when I've stayed in a hotel before ( I'm accustomed to paying for treatments but not just to use a sauna and steam room!) I really would welcome an answer to this question from the managers since I've travelled all over the world staying at many spa hotels and never came across this before. But, to make matters worse, on our day of departure, I decided to pay the €80 for my daughter and I to have a nice relaxing morning in the spa before checking out only to be told that the spa was closed due to maintenance! Why can't they carry out 'maintenance' outside the opening hours? This was really a deal breaker for me and despite being happy with everything else, I would not return to this hotel when I revisit this wonderful city.

Friendly staff and nice services. Nice hotel and fitness center is big and has many facilities. The Portugal restaurant inside the hotel has fantastic food. The check in and check out lines can be long and the location of hotel can be better. They do have shuttle but we end up using bolt most of the time. It’s a bit far from all the major attractions which is the only downside.

What a spectacular hotel. I booked here so I could be relatively close to the airport (13-20+ minute drive, depending on traffic). While I don't find the neighborhood to be anything special, the hotel and associated restaurants were very nice. The Asian restaurant had beautiful little water features / "ponds" and greenery in the outdoor patio area. I believe they kindly upgraded me to an executive King room which was the nicest room I have ever stayed in, in my life. The service was impeccable. And the 50 Euro breakfast spread looked out of this world. The indoor swimming pool looked fun, too. Everything was so aesthetically put together, and they really elevated everything about the experience. My room service meal was outstanding and delivered with such kindness and care. I look forward to returning!

This hotel has a cool vibe to it. We had a very comfortable stay here and recommend booking a room that provides access to the Sky Lounge. Radisson Blu Lisbon is truly a great place to stay. As a Radisson VIP member, I was upgraded to a superior room with a wonderful view. The room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with some surprises, including a Radisson-branded beverage and Portuguese sweets—small touches that make a big difference. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and very sensible hours, making it convenient for both early risers and late sleepers. The location is also a major plus—close to the airport, main train station, and with easy access to the metro. Radisson, in my experience across many countries (Tromsø, Saudi, Dubai, Madrid, Italy, Georgia, etc.), never disappoints, and this stay was no exception. That said, I do want to note one unusual and disappointing experience. One night, around 10:30 pm, we had some leftover pizza and asked the restaurant staff if they could help heat it up. Initially, they agreed and took the box, but later a senior staff member returned and insisted we transfer the slices to a plate. While that was completely fine, instead of offering us an empty table inside the dining area (which still had diners), he asked me to do it on the floor in the corridor. To me, that felt disrespectful—not toward us personally, but to the food itself. I pointed out there were free tables, but his attitude came across as unnecessarily rude. He declined to share his name, and we chose to walk away rather than escalate. This incident was disappointing only because Radisson staff worldwide are usually outstanding, and I don’t want to judge the entire team by one person’s behavior. Overall, the service, comfort, and experience at this hotel were excellent, and it remains one of the best places to stay in Lisbon—especially if you can book a superior room. This experience won’t stop us from returning, as Radisson continues to be a brand we trust and stay loyal to.

There is only so much the best staff in the world can do for this hotel, the staff is very kind, helpful, and respectful. Location is convenient near airport. But the property itself is not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. They gave a room on 11th floor, good views, but the moment i opened up the window the roof panels started flying and falling, could’ve been very dangerous had someone been under it. This property is due for renovations any decade now haha

The location was great. Easy access to buses, trains and taxis. They have a surface parking lot that is free on weekends and an underground parking garage as well. They were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable. We did have a little problem with noisy neighbors and we were disappointed that the restaurant was buffet style during dinner. Otherwise, we had a nice time and would stay here again.

Definitely not 4 stars. More like 2 stars. Very average rooms, below average restaurant and only 1 of 3 small elevators working. About 2mi from the airport with no shuttle to hotel. They do offer a shuttle to the airport. On the positive note, this is the closest hotel to the airport

Absolute JOKE of a hotel! Gave us a smoking room, didn’t get our free breakfast, didn’t get to use the airport shuttle, did not give us the crib we asked for twice before arriving, the revolving door almost crushed my toddler, the room was falling apart. You’d be better off camping on the tarmac than staying at this DUMP!

Hotel was super cute and eclectic. The rooms were decent in size, but not much storage. Bed was comfy, and towels were big and fluffy (no washcloths), the rainfall shower head was great. The room had ac, but it didn't really cut it, we had to still open the window at night. The food was great in the restaurant and the rooftop, we are there a few times during our stay. Pizza was coal fired and had a great crust! The shrimp tacos were a little bland for our liking. The bartenders in the rooftop were super friendly and talented (bottle flare and beautiful craft cocktails). They have a dj on the rooftop and the restaurant on certain nights which really created a nice vibe!

Weren't staying but went up to the rooftop bar for a drink and something to eat. Clearly not targeted at our age range (75'ish), but it was fascinating, and really good experience primarily because of the security guard Escorcio (?) who was sooooooo helpful, even to the point of finding us a table and giving us warm blankets. Liliana was also great in sorting out our foid and drinks order. The success of this place owes a lot to them. The DJ was also good, even played sax to accompany his recorded stuff

We had a great stay at Mama Shelter Lisbon! The hotel has such a fun and modern vibe, with stylish décor and a lively atmosphere. The staff was warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile and helpful recommendations. Our room was comfortable and well-designed, with lots of thoughtful touches that made it feel unique compared to a typical hotel. The rooftop bar was a highlight—great views, good drinks, and a perfect spot to relax in the evening. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay in Lisbon if you’re looking for something vibrant, comfortable, and full of character.

Although the front desk staff are helpful at this hotel, the overall experience is not worth the money paid. When we first arrived, the hotel staff helped us to check in early, and gave us a warm cookie which was greatly appreciated after our long flight. However, after getting in the room, we noticed ants and mold in the corner near the balcony door. There were numerous stains on the carpet and chipped paint on the walls and bedside tables. The lighting in the hotel was also very poor, and I left the next morning feeling like I barely knew what my hair and makeup looked like. They moved us to a different room that was slightly cleaner, but it was still too hot to sleep. We had to buy fans at a store about a 15 minute walk away. There are also not basic amenities in the hotel (Kleenexes?). I would also recommend that future travelers stay somewhere more central since this hotel is about 30 min away from most of the sights. The restaurant is great, and our food was of good quality. The main issue is the room. We checked out early because of it, and the management team has yet to take responsibility or refund us for unused nights. The front desk staff is amazing, but other than that, I don’t have much else to say.

The rooms are European small. Nowhere to setup a laptop and barely enough room to hang your clothes, but decent enough. The rooftop bar is beautiful, but always seems to be booked for private events. Breakfast and lunch food are good. Nothing out of this world, but the service is great. The location is far from the city center and most of the tourists places, however I don’t mean that it’s in a place only for locals, just that it’s far from a lot of the city offerings. I came for a work event, probably wouldn’t come back for a personal stay. The DJ in the restaurant on Friday night wasn’t very good. His music choices were kind of shit.
