We had a great time at the Lisbon Marriott. The staff we’re very friendly and helpful and were responsive to our needs. We enjoyed the breakfast! They used a falconer to scare the pigeons away, which was super cool. The location is fine. Walkable to the zoo and several parks.

Attended this hotel for a small conference and the rooms, staff and food were all 5-star. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for Lisbon sightseeing as it is a ways out of the city center and there is nothing around (other than zoo). It is convenient to the airport. Can’t say enough about how good the food is. The executive chefs go above and beyond with their culinary creations.

We stayed at the Lisbon Marriott with a large group (170) from 12 July - 20 July. Even though we were such a large group, the service, rooms, food, and staff were AMAZING! I would highly recommend the Lisbon Marriott. It was an easy trip from the airport as well as to sight seeing places around the city. I hope I have the opportunity to return to this beautiful place!

Booked a spontaneous stay here just a few days in advance and was overall satisfied with the experience. While the hotel is located slightly outside the city center, it’s well-connected and super convenient for getting to and from the airport. The price was competitive for Lisbon standards, especially at short notice. Lobby and entrance area are inviting, and staff were welcoming throughout. My Marriott Bonvoy status was recognized at check-in, and I received an upgrade, always appreciated. The building itself shows its age, and while there’s been a light refresh in parts of the interior, the room still had visible wear and tear. The bathroom in particular could really use a renovation. Views from the room were not ideal, mostly highway and nearby buildings, but for a quick city stopover it did the job. In short: not a standout property, but solid value for money with friendly service.

I am a picky individual as I started my career in hospitality so I am apprehensive about eating at a hotel and accommodations located close to an airport. The Lisbon Marriott Hotel has met my most important criteria of service. The people who work here are the most helpful, kindest individuals ever. One of their concierge is a clef d’or and is so proud of his accomplishment as he should be and loves his job. It’s so nice to see. I am also amazed by the food at the Tapas and Tiles outlet. It was delicious. Highly recommend staying here for your stay in Lisbon or a transit hotel before airport.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! I was very impressed with the quality of the services – the staff was extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I also appreciated the variety at breakfast – plenty of delicious options to choose from. The location is also a big plus – very close to the main tourist attractions, which made exploring the city easy and convenient. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely come back!

Great central location and decent rooms. Reception staff really friendly but service in bars etc. Is chaotic. In the roof bar it was 35 minute wait for 4 drinks and then the waitress charged other people's drinks to our room and lost our room key. Downstairs bar was not as slow but still very slow with only 3 tables. Breakfast was packed and decent food, but more a canteen than a hotel.

Loved this hotel! Only there one night before a cruise but highly recommend! Rooftop bar is fabulous -views, staff and drinks! There is a grocery store next door! Great location to sights and cruise terminal. Breakfast was great!

First floor and rooftop are nice - the rest was poor. Rooms look bigger and nicer in photos. Room was 30 degrees upon arrival and smelled like human waste. Requested one bed and had two disconnected twin beds - pretty useless for a couple. Overall, our worst hotel in Portugal but is fine for a cheap stay.

Amazing rooftop bar with 360-degree panorama view of old town. Very good service and friendly waiters. We then stopped at the hotel bar in the lobby on our way out because it looked so nice and had an even better experience. Two exceptionally attentive, knowledgeable, and sympathetic bartenders who took their time to introduce us to Portuguese wine and made some excellent recommendations. Ordered a bacon and cheese burger, which was among the best I ever had.

I recently came to this hotel after booking nights through my cruise line . I had booked for 3 nights and paid in advance and only needed 2 nights . I emailed the hotel to upgrade my room and change to 2 nights several weeks out, they gave us a great room. I was never told they would not apply any of my $1200 paid, but charged me $1200 more for these 2 nights … the manager responded politely but of no help . Learned my lesson .. always firm up the plan before you accept . Very disappointed!

Great central hotel in Lisbon. It’s in great shape, the room we were in (junior suite) was very spacious and well-appointed. The pool is a great place to spend the afternoon and has a very attentive wait staff…Paolo was great at getting us whatever we needed every time we went to the pool. We were on this trip celebrating a birthday, and the hotel went out of their way to make the day special. They even surprised us with a nice bottle of local bubbles and a delicious chocolate birthday cake with a candle left in the room while we were away. A very nice touch indeed. Not sure if we’ll be back in Lisbon anytime soon, but definitely recommend you use this hotel for your travels to this wonderful city. 10/10 would stay here again

We got married outside of Lisbon and had our guests stay here. The service was excellent and everyone loved the hotel. Great rooftop. On the way back from our honeymoon we had interruptions and the Tivoli was super helpful accommodating us. The service from the manager to front desk was outstanding and really helped to make our stay memorable. We very much appreciate it and want to again commend the staff for fantastic service

This is the second time we have stayed prior to boarding a cruise. It is a wonderful location and the staff has always been kind and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and made for an enjoyable stay. They have great food options - the lobby bar is perfect for a quick lunch after flying overnight. Cervejaria Liberdade is a perfect option for dinner, food and service were wonderful. They also offer breakfast in the same location and it’s a great start to the day.

Great location and service. However, I have no idea how this is a 5 star hotel, it’s a solid 4 star. The rooms are so small and very old. Our mattress felt like it had been used for decades. Barely any lighting in the room. The washrooms are so small you can barely fit your legs when sitting on the toilet. The day we checked in, there was no hot water - which is fine, but they didn’t offer anything to us to make up for it. Usually a 5 star hotel would make up for this and offer a voucher or something. The front desk told us to go to the spa if we want hot water lol… overall, decent hotel but definitely not a 5 star hotel.

This is our third stay at a Locke property and it was great! The location is fantastic- close to everything but not surrounded by tourists. We had a small issue with our room and Rodrigo promptly solved it! He was very professional and helpful. The hotel itself is quite large and sometimes hard to navigate, but the bonus is that it has a very unique vibe. We are aware that housekeeping only comes once during a week-long stay; however, when they did come it was clear that there wasn’t much cleaning done. This is one point that can be improved. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much in Lisbon!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Locke Hotels in Lisboa — an experience that truly deserves a 10/10. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. Every interaction was pleasant, and you could really tell they take pride in creating a positive experience for their guests. The hotel itself is stunning. The interior design is modern yet inviting, with well-thought-out details in every corner. Our room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and tastefully decorated, combining comfort with style. It was clear that attention had been given to both aesthetics and functionality, which made the stay all the more enjoyable. The restaurants at the hotel are another highlight — each offering delicious food in settings that are as impressive as the menus themselves. One of them, in particular, was a truly unique find: originally a church with a charming backyard, it has been transformed into a remarkable dining venue. The blend of historic architecture with a fresh, contemporary interior design creates an unforgettable atmosphere, and the food was every bit as impressive as the space itself. The vibes throughout the hotel were fantastic — lively yet relaxed, perfect for both unwinding and socializing. Add to that the amazing views over Lisbon, and it really felt like a place where everything came together seamlessly: service, style, comfort, and character. Locke Hotels in Lisboa is more than just a place to stay — it’s an experience in itself. We left with wonderful memories and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and truly memorable stay in Lisbon.

Fabulous hotel. Pool area was lovely. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was nice while traveling. Comfortable and clean units. Everyone was incredibly friendly from the check in/out to the pool bar. The cafe was great and quality coffee (again great service). Thank you so much!! Can’t wait to come back

We were in the studio. From check in, to check out and storing our bags, the staff were absolutely lovely. The studio was clean, well decorated, newly refurbished and had a nice ambience. It felt very cosy, with all the supplies we need. The courtyard and the building was a highlight. It felt luxurious with a bar and pool. There are also other bars scattered around the complex. There were also art, such as old tiles that were nice scattered throughout the hotel. Its also rare to have a decent restaurant, cafe and bar within the hotel itself. It felt very much like a high end resort and we would love to come again!

I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights, and overall, it wasn’t the right fit for me. The location is quite far from the main district, and getting to the hotel requires walking uphill — fine if you don’t mind the climb, but not ideal after a long day out. Housekeeping service wasn’t included in our stay, so when we requested fresh towels, we were told to pick them up from the front desk ourselves. The hotel is spread across five separate buildings, which meant taking two elevators just to reach the lobby. The pool area was always overcrowded, making it nearly impossible to find a chair or daybed. With almost 400 rooms, the hotel really should have a larger pool to accommodate the number of guests. Overall, the atmosphere felt more like a hostel, with a very young and lively crowd. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The best part of this hotel - by far - is the staff and service. Every single person was thrilled to be helping you - and left you with a smile on your face. That included the front desk, housekeeping staff, wait staff, everyone. That doesn't discount that the hotel itself is lovely. With a large ground floor bar area the featured live music. A delicious breakfast buffet. An relaxing pool area. Everything you need. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Lisbon.

The Sheraton Lisboa Hotel and Spa is really great. The atmosphere is relaxed, the rooms are spacious and the staff is more than friendly. The bar is super and the waiters are fantastic. The rooms have more than you need and the bathroom is perfect. The breakfast restaurant is more than an amazing treat. I love it and it is dangerous at the same time, because it is hard not to try everything and enjoy all the great tastes of the fantastic products that are offered.

This was our 3rd hotel stay in 2 weeks and was the best! The service was amazing and if you are a titanium member, you get free beer and wine all day after noon. They have a great happy hour with live music and with small bites and drinks included. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate. We really enjoyed ourselves!

This hotel is a 10/10!! Great location, great front desk service. Always cleaned well. The pool and spa was great - especially the Turkish bath. Breakfast buffet included in our stay was fully stocked and had delicious food. The best part was the play area for our daughter. She never wanted to leave!

Great location right off from a bus station that will take you to the main attractions. Walking distance to many different restaurants as well. Breakfast was great each morning, and the evening reception was wonderful. Each night they had someone singing so making it a great relaxing experience. I did use the spa. Service was good. Only complaint was that the hot tub was of a very mild temperature. Wish it was hotter like other hot tubs. Customer service was great from the time I checked in to the time I checked out. View from my room was a wonderful view of Lisbon and was able to see the Jesus from my room that you might see in one of the pictures. Highly recommended Marriott, and as some check they do thank you and acknowledge your status. Again, highly recommended for customer service and overall experience.

I visited this hotel over my birthday with my daughter. The hotel was great and the staff polite, friendly and attentive. We came back to find complimentary sparkling wine in our room, for my birthday which was a nice touch. (They must have noted this when they took our passports since we didn't tell them). The smart TV was great giving guests access to YouTube, Netflix and other streaming platforms. We ate at the restaurant on the first night and the food was delicious. My only gripe is the spa. Firstly, why do we have to pay €40 pp for only 1 hour's use? I've NEVER had to pay just to access a spa when I've stayed in a hotel before ( I'm accustomed to paying for treatments but not just to use a sauna and steam room!) I really would welcome an answer to this question from the managers since I've travelled all over the world staying at many spa hotels and never came across this before. But, to make matters worse, on our day of departure, I decided to pay the €80 for my daughter and I to have a nice relaxing morning in the spa before checking out only to be told that the spa was closed due to maintenance! Why can't they carry out 'maintenance' outside the opening hours? This was really a deal breaker for me and despite being happy with everything else, I would not return to this hotel when I revisit this wonderful city.

What a spectacular hotel. I booked here so I could be relatively close to the airport (13-20+ minute drive, depending on traffic). While I don't find the neighborhood to be anything special, the hotel and associated restaurants were very nice. The Asian restaurant had beautiful little water features / "ponds" and greenery in the outdoor patio area. I believe they kindly upgraded me to an executive King room which was the nicest room I have ever stayed in, in my life. The service was impeccable. And the 50 Euro breakfast spread looked out of this world. The indoor swimming pool looked fun, too. Everything was so aesthetically put together, and they really elevated everything about the experience. My room service meal was outstanding and delivered with such kindness and care. I look forward to returning!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Corinthia Lisboa, and I wanted to share how impressed and delighted I was with the entire experience. From the moment I entered the hotel, I was greeted with a refreshing orchid scent that created a warm and calming atmosphere. The hotel is beautifully maintained and adorned with fresh flowers throughout, giving the entire space a luxurious and uplifting feel. The attention to detail and level of care was evident throughout the property. My room was spotless, cleaned thoroughly each morning and thoughtfully turned down every evening, making my stay feel consistently neat and comfortable. The outdoor breakfast experience felt like an oasis in the city—it truly made me forget I was in an urban environment. It was one of the highlights of my stay. The executive lounge was also exceptional, offering a relaxing space with attentive and kind staff who made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my visit. This was my second stay at a Corinthia property (in a different city), and this experience has made me a loyal fan of the brand. I look forward to exploring more Corinthia hotels in the future. Thank you for such a memorable and elevated stay.

Hotel was super cute and eclectic. The rooms were decent in size, but not much storage. Bed was comfy, and towels were big and fluffy (no washcloths), the rainfall shower head was great. The room had ac, but it didn't really cut it, we had to still open the window at night. The food was great in the restaurant and the rooftop, we are there a few times during our stay. Pizza was coal fired and had a great crust! The shrimp tacos were a little bland for our liking. The bartenders in the rooftop were super friendly and talented (bottle flare and beautiful craft cocktails). They have a dj on the rooftop and the restaurant on certain nights which really created a nice vibe!

Although the front desk staff are helpful at this hotel, the overall experience is not worth the money paid. When we first arrived, the hotel staff helped us to check in early, and gave us a warm cookie which was greatly appreciated after our long flight. However, after getting in the room, we noticed ants and mold in the corner near the balcony door. There were numerous stains on the carpet and chipped paint on the walls and bedside tables. The lighting in the hotel was also very poor, and I left the next morning feeling like I barely knew what my hair and makeup looked like. They moved us to a different room that was slightly cleaner, but it was still too hot to sleep. We had to buy fans at a store about a 15 minute walk away. There are also not basic amenities in the hotel (Kleenexes?). I would also recommend that future travelers stay somewhere more central since this hotel is about 30 min away from most of the sights. The restaurant is great, and our food was of good quality. The main issue is the room. We checked out early because of it, and the management team has yet to take responsibility or refund us for unused nights. The front desk staff is amazing, but other than that, I don’t have much else to say.

I stayed here for six nights and loved the hotel. It was absolutely adorable. The room was larger than other European hotels I’ve stayed in and the bed wasn’t two twins pushed together. Absolutely every mirror in the place had something on it. If you have kiddos, careful of the wares sold in the lobby as two of the shelves are adult toys. This is, however, the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in that couldn’t do currency exchange-even a small amount.

Really really good hotel at reasonable rates. Boutique hotels can be hit or miss. Sometimes the decor was the focus and other aspects are neglected. Not here. The staff is fantastic. Really good. All of them. They’re friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Our friends decided to have an event here because of their experience. Rooftop bar is legit. Food is good. Service is top notch. Example, I’m carrying 2 coffees through the lobby, the person working the front desk rushes to open the elevator and select my floor so I don’t spill. The attention to detail is appreciated. Highly recommended.

Brunch at Mama Shelter Lisbon was a fun and relaxed experience. The atmosphere is trendy and vibrant with a cool design and good music that adds to the vibe. The buffet had a great variety from fresh pastries and fruits to hot dishes, salads and desserts. The quality of the food was very good and there were plenty of options for different tastes. The staff were friendly and kept everything well stocked. It is a great spot for a casual weekend brunch with friends or family. Overall it is a stylish place with a generous and tasty brunch in the heart of Lisbon.

I personally loved this hotel. I got a room at the 11th floor with amazing views, I had asked when I booked to give me a room with a view and they delivered! It may not be the newest interior but it's marble and really good quality interior, for me it's timeless and I liked it. Bed was super comfy, room spacious, the breakfast great and staff very friendly. What more do you want! :)

There are many negative reviews online about this hotel, and they are mostly true. During my 4-night stay, Lisbon’s temperature hit 31-35°C. I was lucky to get a room with air conditioning. The room was spacious and fairly clean, but some furniture like the table and chair were quite old, though not a big issue. The bathroom was newly renovated, but some rooms might not have been updated yet. On the third night, a sudden ceiling leak happened like a fountain when I was about to go out, but staff quickly resolved it. I didn’t request a room change since I feared getting a worse one, as some rooms have broken AC. If you order takeaway, the hotel won’t deliver it to your room—you must collect it outside the hotel. The facilities are very rundown, honestly more like worn-out. As we say in Hong Kong, it’s like “Syrian style.” Out of three elevators, two were broken. The corridor carpets are stained all over. The location isn’t near the tourist center; Uber to the old town costs around 10 euros. But it’s close to the airport, so it depends on your needs. If you sleep with windows open, street and plane noise is loud. You just have to fix what you can and tolerate the rest. At 100 euros a night in peak season, you can’t expect a 4-star hotel; the low price explains a lot.

I chose this hotel because I had to catch an early flight the next day at Lisbon Airport. The hotel its about a couple of miles from the airport, and an uber ride costs around €10 these days. I should mention the Campo Grande subway station, that serves both green and yellow line, is just across the highway in front on the hotel. You can easily get to the "old city center" and many touristic points from here. Staff at the reception were pretty nice. Got the superior room, that was very spacious, with two queen beds, and a little living room area. More than enough room for my family of four. There was complimentary water and apples, but also some sodas and beers in the minifridge. Large tv with several channels, an electric water boiler and an iron and board. Bathroom was also large, with double vanity, a tub & shower and even a bidet. Overall, I think this is a decent place to stay, everything seemed well kept, but you can tell this is an old hotel. Not in a bad way tho, it had like a "vintage" charm to it. Both the restaurant and lobby bar seemed very lively, but unfortunately I didnt have the chance to eat or drink anything there.

I never write reviews, but this hotel was so bad I had to share. The only redeeming quality is the location—it’s super convenient to the airport. This place hasn’t been remodeled since the 90s. The walls are dirty, the carpets are disgusting, and the room was covered in dust. I was even worried about leaving my suitcase on the floor for fear of bugs. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the towels were so dingy and rough. The bed had cheap linens and was incredibly uncomfortable. On top of that, I had dinner at their restaurant and was served the most ridiculous salad I’ve ever seen—cheap feta, no dressing, and they had the audacity to charge me for a bread basket filled with stale bread. I’m honestly still in shock at how bad this place was. DO NOT STAY HERE. I can’t understand how anyone could give this hotel five stars. I’ve traveled all over the world, and this might be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
